Take the Challenge of the Sourcing Sleuths on Dec. 6

You may know the Association of Employment Professionals (AOEP) from their 2,300+ member ERE group that's free to join, even if you don't live close enough to their New England base to attend their live meetings. I've plugged them before but the December 6, 2006 event I'm helping assemble for them is unique.

We've got three leading sourcers (including yours truly) who will take your toughest requisitions and show how to fill the pipeline quickly via Internet and phone. The nice part is we've agreed to present different (yet complementary) methods on each, so you get a wide range of additions to your sourcing toolkit.

So who's presenting besides me? Let's start with JobMachine founder Shally Steckerl, a renowned sourcing guru who recently left Microsoft to take his consultancy to the next level on a full-time basis and brought Dave Mendoza on board to help handle all the incoming project work. And how about Krista Bradford, founder of a thriving phone sourcing-focused research and retained search firm, who also happened to present a very well-received full-day master workshop with Shally at the ERE conference in Florida this fall?

So you learn online methods AND phone methods -- the full sourcing enchilada. (Well, as much as we can convey in 90 min., including Q&A.) And great networking guaranteed on either side of the presentations, too. (We'll let people in starting at 5:30p and won't shut the doors until 9p or so.)

The catch? It's less than three weeks away and we've only got 30 seats left. No, you won't be able to see it live unless you come to Waltham, Massachusetts. We're hoping to record it and get AOEP, event host Microsoft, or the sponsors that AOEP snagged (ZoomInfo and TheLadders) to host a stream of it, but no guarantees. But hey, AOEP is flying Shally in, and they're paying for Krista's rental car, so if they can get here from out of state, maybe you can, too! At $40/person or less (only $25 if you pre-register by Nov. 22) which *includes* the food & drink (AOEP is a legit non-profit, they're not trying to suck anybody dry), it's a heck of a good deal vs. many other events where you won't learn nearly as much in an even longer time.

So please tell your friends to register -- at least your New England ones -- and hope to see many of you in a few weeks!
