AOEP Increases Slots for Half-Day Recruiter Bootcamp at Bentley College, Waltham, MA 9/26/07

by Glenn Gutmacher

I signed up to present the Internet sourcing session at the Association of Employment Professionals first annual Recruiter Bootcamp. As with the last several events that this Boston area-focused non-profit has held, it was oversold (over 150 have pre-registered, coming from as far as Maine).

I wasn't going to promote it because I was told it was sold out. But when they oversold, AOEP got the host site, Bentley College, to add additional classroom space and now they have room for 200. AOEP will still offer registration at just $50 (yes, that's a two-digit dollar amount) per person for the half-day program (including breakfast).

The content and speakers are best-in-class. And as a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, AOEP provide this to the employment community at substantially below-market costs.

It will be held at Bentley College this Wednesday, 9/26/07 from 8:00AM - 12:30 PM. Seating is limited to pre-paid registrants. To pre-register, go to www.aoep.com/chapters/ma/events/form-mass.php or you can print out the registration form and fax it to 617-507-7702. If you have a recent credit card that expires in 2010 or later, you may find it more efficient to simply fax your order. Contact Mike Vangel at 781-895-4040 if questions.

Doors open and Continental breakfast served at 8:00AM. Sessions begin @ 8:30 sharp. Each presentation is 60 minutes long, most will be presented twice. There are three session timeslots in total so you can pick your favorites:

Optimizing Your Interviewing Skills - Patricia Hunt Sinacole

Patricia is an expert on interview techniques and is a regular columnist in the Boston Globe. She will share valuable insight's from a recruiter's perspective on how to maximize the candidate interview process. Interactive format.

Internet Sourcing At Light Speed - Glenn Gutmacher

Glenn is AOEP's 2007 H. Michael Boyd Award winner for Excellence in Employment, founder of Recruiting-Online.com, a bonafide Sourcing Sleuth, and a Recruiting Researcher at Microsoft.

Making Staffing Metrics Meaningful To Your Organization- Dan Kilgore

Dan is the Director of Talent Acquisition for Getronics North America. He has presented on Staffing Metrics nationally to ERE conferences, and locally to NEHRA and AOEP.

Best Practices In College Recruiting - Panel discussion featuring AOEP "Excellence in Employment" Award Winner, Cindy Gallerani, EMC For Best Practices In College Recruiting.

A very special thanks to event sponsor, Talent Retriever: "Delivering hire results".

P.S. If you miss me at this event, note that I will be presenting in October at the New Jersey Metro EMA Chapter meeting and the 495-128 HR Collaborative near Boston (both are inexpensive), as well as the Recruiting Excellence 2007 conference in Boston, and then in November at the Kennedy Recruiting Conference in Orlando, FL. More details at those websites and in a future blogpost.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-09-24T22:42:17Z</dcterms:modified>

Valid reasons to attend SourceCon (only a few are mine)

by Glenn Gutmacher

Thanks in part to the 3-stage sourcing challenge, there's been a lot of buzz about this first all-sourcing industry conference (now just under a month away, but I've been pleasantly surprised to see how cheap the round-trip airline rates to Atlanta still are that week). However, other than the impressive list of speakers and topics, I wasn't sure if people on the outside were convinced enough of its value to actually take the leap to register (first-time events often suffer a stigma until proven)

But I finally received a few emails this week that I think will convince you:

1) Shally sent an email to his network with the best set of substantive reasons I've seen thus far for industry people to attend. I took the liberty of posting the email on my website here, since I can't find it on Shally's or on SourceCon's. (Let's see if I get in trouble for that. ;-)

2) They sponsored Jim Stroud's "History of Sourcing", creatively presented in a timeline format: http://jimstroud.com/thehistoryofsourcing.html which goes way back and includes a great friend who I consider the true pioneer of recruiting research (see 1974).

3) The mass email from SourceCon this week is a Q&A formatted mini-interview with me about why I'm presenting there and what I think people will get out of it. Once again, I took the liberty of posting the email on my website here, since I can't find it elsewhere.

The only press/promotion kind of stuff you see on their site (if you click "Latest News") is about their Sourcing Challenge. I understand they're trying to create a secretive feel to the whole thing, but if you're going to mass-email thousands in the industry, what do you get out of not posting it to your website?

P.S. I have no financial incentives related to SourceCon (other than them paying my travel expenses and registration), but I personally would love to see a recruiting industry conference purely about sourcing succeed. Wouldn't you?

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-08-14T15:22:43Z</dcterms:modified>

Take the Challenge of the Sourcing Sleuths on Dec. 6

You may know the Association of Employment Professionals (AOEP) from their 2,300+ member ERE group that's free to join, even if you don't live close enough to their New England base to attend their live meetings. I've plugged them before but the December 6, 2006 event I'm helping assemble for them is unique.

We've got three leading sourcers (including yours truly) who will take your toughest requisitions and show how to fill the pipeline quickly via Internet and phone. The nice part is we've agreed to present different (yet complementary) methods on each, so you get a wide range of additions to your sourcing toolkit.

So who's presenting besides me? Let's start with JobMachine founder Shally Steckerl, a renowned sourcing guru who recently left Microsoft to take his consultancy to the next level on a full-time basis and brought Dave Mendoza on board to help handle all the incoming project work. And how about Krista Bradford, founder of a thriving phone sourcing-focused research and retained search firm, who also happened to present a very well-received full-day master workshop with Shally at the ERE conference in Florida this fall?

So you learn online methods AND phone methods -- the full sourcing enchilada. (Well, as much as we can convey in 90 min., including Q&A.) And great networking guaranteed on either side of the presentations, too. (We'll let people in starting at 5:30p and won't shut the doors until 9p or so.)

The catch? It's less than three weeks away and we've only got 30 seats left. No, you won't be able to see it live unless you come to Waltham, Massachusetts. We're hoping to record it and get AOEP, event host Microsoft, or the sponsors that AOEP snagged (ZoomInfo and TheLadders) to host a stream of it, but no guarantees. But hey, AOEP is flying Shally in, and they're paying for Krista's rental car, so if they can get here from out of state, maybe you can, too! At $40/person or less (only $25 if you pre-register by Nov. 22) which *includes* the food & drink (AOEP is a legit non-profit, they're not trying to suck anybody dry), it's a heck of a good deal vs. many other events where you won't learn nearly as much in an even longer time.

So please tell your friends to register -- at least your New England ones -- and hope to see many of you in a few weeks!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2006-11-17T04:32:21Z</dcterms:modified>

The Secret Language of Competitive Intelligence: New Insights from Leonard Fuld in Boston on Tuesday

This will be my only mention on this blog about next Tuesday's event (Oct. 3, 2006) from 6PM-9PM in Waltham, MA, but it should be great. I got Microsoft's regional office to host an appearance by a pioneer of CI who just came out with a very readable book on the subject. In fact, he'll even sign copies available on-site at a discounted price, thanks to the Society of Competitive Intelligence (SCIP), whose Boston chapter meeting is the venue for this.

But non-members are encouraged to attend at a cheap price (food & drink included) so we expect a big crowd. Please sign up ahead of time and tell your colleagues (including those outside of recruiting) to come. It's a great way to introduce yourself without embarrassment to the world of competitive intelligence (Boston has an active community, in and outside of recruiting). I look forward to seeing many of you!

Here's the event description, speaker bio and particulars:

Competitive intelligence is not about the Internet. It's about a German refugee turned American GI and interpreter in World War II. It's about a goat in the field. It's about Google's battle with Microsoft. In order to unlock the value of competitive intelligence and see past competitive smoke screens and disruptions, one must first learn its five realities. Only then will you be able decode its secret language and help your business strategy succeed.

Leonard Fuld, president of Fuld & Company, will share his insights on this secret language based on the findings from his most recent book, The Secret Language of Competitive Intelligence, on Tuesday, October 3 at the Microsoft facility in Waltham, MA. SCIP Boston is privileged to have this experienced and popular speaker kick off our year.

The meeting presenter for this timely and relevant workshop is Leonard Fuld.

About the Speaker: Leonard Fuld is a pioneer and recognized leading authority in the field of competitive intelligence. Leonard Fuld created many of the intelligence-gathering techniques currently used by corporations around the globe. Mr. Fuld was among the first four people to be named a Fellow of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) and was awarded the Meritorious Award, the highest award offered by SCIP, in 1998.

Fuld & Company is a full-service business intelligence firm, providing research and analysis, strategic consulting, business intelligence process consulting, and training to help clients understand their external competitive environment. With headquarters in Cambridge, MA and offices in London, UK, the company has served over half the Fortune 500 companies as well as corporations around the world.

Location: Microsoft, 6th Floor Conference Room, 201 Jones Road, Waltham, MA (get driving directions).

Registration: SCIP Member $30.00; Non-Member $35.00

Agenda:

Registration and Networking 6:00PM

Light dinner and Beverage 6:00PM

Presentation 6:45PM

Q & A/Networking 8:00PM

Contact: Parmelee Eastman, SCIP Boston Chapter Coordinator, peastman{at}eastsightconsulting[dot]com but to register it's best to go here ahead of time.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2006-09-28T20:28:39Z</dcterms:modified>

Where Is Glenn Gutmacher Speaking Next?

Q: Somehow I missed out on your seminar at Microsoft on July 25th. Is there any chance you will be doing another one soon?

A: Yes, I'm presenting variations of the Internet Sourcing at LightSpeed seminar in the near future at two recruiting associations around Boston: the 495-128 Collaborative on Wed., Sept. 13 at 7:30am, and the Northeast Human Resource Association's Staffing Special Interest Group (EMA Staffing SIG meeting) on Thu., Oct. 12 at 8:00am. Please note that non-members will be welcome at these meetings at a discounted rate. Contact the event coordinators directly (Marcia Kadish, 781-433-9467, mkadish[at]cantata{dot}com and Doug Cohen, 508-647-7990, doug[dot]cohen{at}mathworks[dot]com respectively) for details.

I plan to cover more of the superfast sourcing secrets that I didn't have time for at the Microsoft Waltham event in July, such as blog search, bookmarklets and third-party tools, so if even if you came to the July event, you should learn something new at these! And I will happily answer specific questions to apply any online sourcing methods to particular industries or attendees' own current search needs. Finally, I will present examples of powerful methods from two exciting new CheatSheets that Shally and I are working on (more on this in a future post) covering completely separate online sourcing topics from the popular one that he developed on Google Search a few years ago.

For professional associations outside the greater Boston area, I am happy to present short webinars on various online sourcing topics. Please contact webinars[at]recruiting-online[dot]com for details.

I received a press release from Peter Weddle last night about the "first annual event" of the International Association of Employment Web Sites, a conference to be held nearby HR Executive's annual HR Technology conference in Chicago this September, where most job boards have representatives anyway. He founded IAEWS in 2005 and sent it from the email address director [at] employmentwebsites.org, though the corresponding website is not mentioned anywhere in the release. Nor is this first annual conference mentioned anywhere on the website (as of the time of this post). This is odd since the release was obviously part of a mass-outreach to recruiting media outlets, though he does announce an "International Employment Web Site Week" on the website, which is to occur at the same time.

The site's content is all Peter's (e.g., excerpts of past Weddles surveys), or compiled by him (e.g., typical press releases from the member job boards). Let's hope it doesn't remain that way. It smacks of Peter trying to get in tighter with the group that butters much of his bread: many of the companies appearing in his annual directory of employment websites and who use him to consult. He apparently charges $350 up to $10,000/year (based on the site's self-reported revenue) for association membership, the current value of which is apparently to receive some of the industry reports he publishes.

If he wants this association to gain any legitimacy, he should get other entities to take a more active role (the member job boards can be among those), officially and meaningfully tie in with promising initiatives where job boards could clearly have an impact, like the HR-XML Consortium or applying microformats to resumes and related data, or doing something beyond posting more jobs to help with the global imbalance between talent, education, geography and projected future labor needs.

His press release states: "In barely more than a decade, job boards and career portals have become a $2+ billion industry in the U.S. alone." We're hopeful that some meaningful initiatives will come out of this first annual conference, worthy of an industry of that size. As a pioneer in Internet recruiting, Peter has done some good things over the years. I've heard him speak a few times and he is great at putting a tangible framework and catchy labels around amorphous concepts and trends that help "regular HR" folks understand things. So I hope his meeting garners strong and broad representation. However, please excuse us for being a little dubious about IAEWS based on what we're seeing at this point.

P.S. Links to my posts from the first three weeks of the Blogswap are finally appearing on the main list, though the actual posts are on the respective blogs. Just do a find-in-page for Glenn Gutmacher or scroll down under each week's update here, here and here.
Q: Are you doing any more free sourcing presentations for sourcers and recruiters in the near future?

A: I can finally answer this question that's been in my pile for a while: Thanks to our sponsors H3.com and Microsoft, the following event is completely *free* to the New England area recruiting industry community. I hope to see many of you there, or if you're elsewhere but know someone in the area who might benefit, please refer them asap. When we did something like this with Shally last fall, we filled the rooms (160+ attendees)! Here's the info blurb; please forward and help spread the word...

Tu. 7/25/06 - "What Shally Didn't Have Time to Tell You: Glenn Gutmacher presents Internet Sourcing at LightSpeed" - Internet sourcing guru Glenn Gutmacher of Microsoft presents the follow-up to last fall's acclaimed "Inside Secrets of Sourcing Professionals" seminar by Shally Steckerl, his boss at Microsoft. Chock-full of useful yet little-known sourcing methods (we promise you'll come away with something new :-) to uncover hard-to-find candidates at no cost, this new live presentation, pre-event networking and wine-and-cheese reception immediately following are all free and open to staffing and sourcing industry professionals who RSVP at www.recruiting-online.com/glenniscoming or via co-sponsor H3.com

(Kellie Buckley: 617-758-4117). Event location/time: Microsoft Corporation, 201 Jones Road, 6th Floor, Waltham, MA; 5:30 pm networking; 6:30pm presentation; 7:30pm reception.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2006-07-11T11:38:14Z</dcterms:modified>

Learn from some top recruiting sourcers- webcast from HCI

Sorry for the lack of notice, but tomorrow (June 6, 2006) at noon US Eastern Daylight Time is when I join my Microsoft colleague Shally Steckerl, along with other noted recruiting sourcers (links to company homepages) Jeremy Langhans, Phil Haynes and Laura Stoker on a panel moderated by Bill Craib on best sourcing methods, applied to real job requisition examples from a few different industries. It's called "Today's Top Search Strategies from the Best in the Biz" (I don't make up the session titles ;-) and is part of the Human Capital Institute's free webcast series on Strategic Sourcing & Recruitment. (Ok, you need to be at least a Community member of HCI, but that's a free signup, too.) Supposedly they're well over 500 people pre-registered, but I don't think it's closed, so click here to register if you're interested. And if you miss it, you can still sign up for the rest of the series (topics/panelists TBD) and I suspect they may record our session for later access.

Michael Boyd Award will be bestowed, as a result of an open solicitation throughout the U.S. for nominations. The finalist were selected for exceptional passion and best practices within the field of employment. Though the names are being kept hush-hush (even from me), I am told that they are coming in from all over the country.

As a volunteer member of AOEP's Advisory Board, I can tell you that this is a great group for networking, with a nice mix of senior-level staffing professionals and aspiring up-and-comers, and this event promises to be the largest meeting in the history of AOEP, founded in 2003. At the $35 non-member rate (tax deductible), it's a heck of a deal given that they're shelling out quite a bit of dough for the open hot hors d'oeuvres and wine/beer. (And they won't put a hard sell on you to join when you come -- isn't it nice that some non-profits don't try to squeeze you for $?!)

Here's the link for details and registration. Look forward to seeing you there!

P.S. I'll give you advance notice that AOEP's December 2006 event is going to be about cool tools for recruiting research, with yours truly helping plan the activities. Categories will include online sourcing and productivity tools, name-gen vendors and RPOs, etc. We're hoping to do stuff like a vendor bake-off, objective demos of tools with industry gurus, and the ability to do comparisons in an exhibit hall. Vendors who might wish to participate, please contact AOEP for details at no obligation. More event details to come as the plans take shape!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2006-05-24T12:56:54Z</dcterms:modified>

More hidden sourcing channels (see me live or published)

1) While my esteemed Microsoft recruitment sourcing colleague, Jim Stroud, was on vacation this week, I thought I'd help fill in by penning an entry for JobsBlog, the popular Microsoft group blog geared to technical job-seekers, to which he is a regularly-rotating contributor. Though recruiters and sourcers aren't the reader target, if you are either, I think you'll find some of the points in Get Out There and Get Noticed interesting, as I list many of the insider sourcing channel categories that we use to find those hard-to-find candidates. (I'm glad about the interesting comments people posted, too.)

2) But if you really want to pick up some online sourcing tips directly and will be in the Boston area on Thu. May 11, please stop by for my presentation at the monthly meeting of IHRCA, a long-standing independent recruiter association in the area, which will let any first-timers attend free (not that dues are expensive). I'll be covering some of my latest finds in online search, candidate networking and productivity tools. Details on the event, driving directions, etc., are on their Calendar page.

Sorry for the slight variation from the blog's Q&A format, but I do occasionally mention events of import, which I thought this and my last post merited. This Thursday at 6pm, our office is going to host the monthly Boston area chapter meeting of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals. SCIP is an interesting organization for those involved in professional research (recruiting or otherwise) so do check it out if you ever thought you might want to grow up to be David Carpe.

This might be no big deal in Redmond, where Microsoft is a frequent site of SCIP's Seattle area meetings, but I don't think Microsoft has ever hosted Boston's. (I volunteered us when the usual location was unavailable.) Another reason this is notable is that we'll have SCIP executive director Alex Graham on hand along with fellow SCIP board member and the evening's presenter Arik Johnson, founder of Aurora WDC, well known in SCIP circles internationally (which undoubtedly contributed to Arik's selection as program coordinator for the 2006 annual conference). Arik and Alex are also in town to meet with noted business theorist and Harvard Business School professor, Clayton Christensen, who developed Disruptive Innovation Theory, among other things. And that's also Arik's session topic this Thursday.

So if you've ever thought about CI or joining SCIP but didn't know if it was worth it, here's an easy opportunity to find out. Contact chapter coordinator Parmelee Eastman and tell her I suggested she try to get you in at the member rate since you're a first-timer and FOG (Friend of Glenn). I'd love to see some new faces there (or chat with old recruiting colleagues I haven't seen in a while). But don't just drive to Microsoft on Thursday night (it runs from 6-8pm, BTW) without RSVPing, please!

competitive intelligence, SCIP, society of competitive intelligence professionals

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2006-01-22T20:27:41Z</dcterms:modified>

Microsoft NE Holiday Party, or Another Reason I Like Working Here

Last night was the New England District 's annual Holiday Party, held at the swanky Ritz-Carlton Hotel located beside historic Boston Common. We thought we were slick in finding one of the few remaining street parking spaces, but it turns out that Microsoft was covering the $25 valet parking fee, anyway!

As if the freely-running cocktails, varied hors d'oeuvres, tasty dinner buffet, 3-foot-tall chocolate fondue fountains and a cool live band (down to the black knit skull cap over the horn player's head) weren't enough, the setting for us hundreds of Microsofties and significant others was a large two-story room that featured live vines. We're talking full coverage across the long balcony overhang and all 20 feet down to ground level in two places, apparently set up recently for use by a fashion show to occur in the same room the following day.

Rumor has it that our district operations manager, who also coordinated our party, was recently urged by the hotel to pony up $5K or so to help pay for the vernal enhancements, even though Microsoft had booked the reservation months before with no mention of special decorations. Good negotiators that Microsoft managers are, she balked and said the hotel could just move us to another room if they needed to. Apparently, no other room of that size was available, so we enjoyed the complimentary foliage!

My wife and I spent most of the time chatting with colleague Greg Becker, an RTC sales guru (Live Meeting-related solutions, etc.) and his wife, who we found out at the Microsoft Kids Party last month (another very well-done event with plenty of family-appropriate activities, BTW) live a town over from us, when their daughter ran over to our son in the middle of the party to say hi -- they attend the same school!

My other interesting conversation was with a popular MS blogger in the developer world, even though he's technically in marketing (can't hold a good guy down!). He was relaying his efforts to evangelize a new revenue-generating idea that would also steal market share from a major competitor. (I could share the idea, but then I'd have to kill you, and it takes a long time to track down all those IP addresses. ;-) Though he hasn't received much feedback yet, the concept sounded like a winner, so I urged him to keep pursuing.

The night (for us, anyway) culminated with obtaining a lovely floral arrangement in a rectangular glass vase (the event coordinators assured attendees that they were free to take home the table centerpieces) along with the universally-distributed party favor: a stylish, multicolored wine bottle glass cork replacer that we'll definitely save. Had we won the huge HDTV that Microsoft gave away in a free raffle following dessert (though I'm not sure where we'd have put it), I'd be even more excited about blogging about this event, but all in all, it was a super evening and kudos to my NED colleagues!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2006-01-23T18:41:13Z</dcterms:modified>

Follow-up to Beyond Blogs & Social Networks conference

As mentioned in my last post, I attended the first annual (at least according to the conference organizers, they'll commit to at least two more years) Beyond Blogs & Social Networks conference. The organizers were kind enough to offer speakers two free registrations. Given the conference was in NJ, and I was booked on short notice, I wasn't sure who in my network would want to take them. So, given the topic, I thought I would test this relatively-new blog and make this the only place I announced the available comps. And guess what! I do have some readers in the NYC metro area -- congrats and thanks to Steve Levy and Scott Szur for being the first to respond. It was great seeing them (Scott for the first time) at the event.

Conference chair David Teten put together a solid mix of presenters (only one dud, though the vendor's offering seemed decent), and I'm only sorry I missed day 1 of 2 which included, for example, a luncheon keynote with an apparently robust presentation about IBM's blogging (and related) initiatives. But I met some great people, and it gave me my first opportunity to develop a presentation and speak live at an event as a Microsoft representative on a Microsoft topic. Based on the generally positive reaction from attendees, it appears I didn't embarrass my employer. ;-)

P.S. I've been encouraged to create a Technorati Profile. We'll see how interesting that turns out to be.

P.P.S. Since a number of folks have asked for it, I posted my presentation at www.recruiting-online.com/microsoft

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2005-12-09T16:21:20Z</dcterms:modified>

I'll be speaking about Microsoft at Beyond Blogs & Social Networks Conference

If you're going to be anywhere near NYC on Dec. 1-2 and you're into this topic, be one of the first two people to ask me and I'll give you a free pass to the Beyond Blogs and Social Networks conference at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City where I'll be presenting a Microsoft Recruiting case study (at 10:30am on day 2) about how we use online tools in innovative ways. (As a speaker, I was given two additional comps.) The conference chair, David Teten, knows me from having interviewed me for his book, The Virtual Handshake (website/blog by the same name), subtitled Opening Doors and Closing Deals Online, published by AMACOM in summer 2005. The conference agenda is posted and looks interesting, but I'm the only presenter putting the topic in a recruiting context (as far as I can tell). The Microsoft Recruitment Marketing folks have agreed to let me give away some software in a raffle at my session, too.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2005-11-28T22:11:54Z</dcterms:modified>

Really excited about Shally Is Coming event on 9/27/05

I'm really happy about the response we've gotten to Shally's presentation to be held at Microsoft Waltham the night before his 3-hour workshop at the ERE conference. It's really a win-win: it will let people learn some cool sourcing methods who can't go to ERE, we're letting New England area recruiting folks network, AND it's undoubtedly leading to some more registrations for ERE from people we reached out that ERE didn't, or perhaps in another way from ERE that got them curious.
